Team Members
Geoff Stewart
Managing DirectorGeoff has more than 20 years' experience across resource investment, capital raising, and project monetisation. He and Dale Ferguson founded Slipstream Resources in 2013 with a clear mandate: identify undervalued exploration projects and deploy a structured process to realise their value.
His career spans senior roles across the resources investment landscape — advising, financing, and structuring transactions for exploration and development stage companies across Australia and internationally.
Geoff leads Slipstream's origination team and investor network relationships, with a particular focus on the Australian listed market and the family office capital that sits behind many of our project investments.
Dale Ferguson
Technical DirectorCo-founder of Slipstream, Dale is an economic geologist with more than 30 years' experience assessing, exploring, and developing resource projects across multiple commodity groups and jurisdictions. He is one of Australia's most respected technical practitioners in the exploration sector.
He previously served as Managing Director of Savannah Resources, where he led the identification and development of the Barroso Lithium Project in Portugal — now recognised as Europe's largest spodumene lithium resource, with a Definitive Feasibility Study underway and production targeted for 2028.
Dale leads Slipstream's technical assessment of new opportunities, the design and oversight of exploration programs, and resource development through to pre-feasibility stage. His technical and corporate experience across Australia, Europe, and Southeast Asia underpins our confidence in projects that require more than desktop geology.
Scott Ferguson
Business DevelopmentScott is a geologist with more than 20 years of field-based experience in project generation and early-stage exploration across Australia and internationally.
His career has focused on the identification and early-stage advancement of exploration targets — the work that sits before the corporate layer but ultimately determines the quality of what Slipstream can build. He brings a practical understanding of what makes a project viable at the grassroots level, shaped by time on the ground in some of Australia's most productive mineral provinces.
Scott leads business development activities from our Perth office, focusing on new project origination and early-stage technical assessment within the WA and broader Asia-Pacific market.
Oscar Done
Non-Executive DirectorOscar Done brings institutional-grade capital backing and an extensive investor network as Principal of the Done Family Office.
His role on the Slipstream board reflects the group's approach to aligning investor interests at the governance level — ensuring that capital deployment decisions are informed by the perspective of those whose capital is at work in our projects.
The Done Family Office's involvement provides Slipstream with access to capital and co-investor relationships that complement Slipstream's operational team and strengthen Slipstream's position with project vendors considering a partnership with the group.
Winston Velayuthen
Chief Financial OfficerWinston brings more than 25 years of experience in finance, governance, and listed company operations — with a career spanning Big Four advisory, major ASX-listed companies, and the resources sector.
He has held senior finance and governance roles at Deloitte, AGL Energy, and Hillgrove Resources, giving him a breadth of experience that ranges from corporate advisory through to the practical mechanics of running a publicly listed resources company.
At Slipstream, Winston oversees financial governance, reporting, and compliance across the group — ensuring that every vehicle we build is structured to the standard that institutional investors and ASX listing rules require.
